About
BeautyStack.

BeautyStack is the place where your beauty stack lives publicly. We're building the social platform serious beauty users have been quietly DIYing in screenshots, group chats, and Notes app for years.

The problem we're solving

Ask anyone who's spent more than a year going deep on skincare or makeup, and they'll tell you the same thing: their actual routine lives in a Notes app, in screenshots in group chats, in scribbled lists shared with friends, in TikTok comments asking creators what they use.

The information is everywhere — but the format is broken. There's no shared place where someone says "this is what I actually use, in order, with notes" and someone else can see it, copy it, follow that person, and get pinged when one of those products goes on sale.

Existing platforms get part of it. Reddit threads have great information but no structure. Sephora reviews are tied to single products. TikTok shows you a creator using something but the link is gone in 24 hours. Pinterest gives you aspiration without specificity.

BeautyStack is the dedicated place. The Letterboxd for your beauty shelf. The shape that fits the use case.

The waitlist is open at beautystack.app for users who want to be notified when the app is available. Our launch strategy is creator-led — we're building toward a coordinated launch with beauty creators whose audiences are the natural fit for BeautyStack from day one.

Who's behind it

BeautyStack is being built by Grant Bakker, an independent founder based in Tampa, Florida. We're independent, self-funded, and not raising venture capital at this stage. Our goal is to build a focused, well-crafted product that serious beauty users genuinely love — not to optimize for short-term growth metrics.

How we make money

BeautyStack uses two revenue streams to support the product:

That's it. No ads. No selling user data. No affiliate-paid product placements disguised as recommendations.

Brand & affiliate partnerships

We partner with affiliate networks (Amazon Associates, with applications submitted to Rakuten Advertising and Impact.com for Sephora and Ulta partnerships respectively) to make products shoppable directly from BeautyStack.

If you're a beauty brand interested in working with BeautyStack — affiliate, sponsorship, editorial collaboration — reach out at hello@beautystack.app.
